LC Library Events for April 2018

Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library will be holding its spring Used Book Fair at Library Headquarters on Saturday, April 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A wide selection of genres is available to choose from including picture books, crafts, cooking, travel, health, and autobiographies as well as fiction and non-fiction for all ages. A donation of 50 cents per children's book and $1.00 per adult book is suggested. Or bring a bag and fill it up for a suggested price of $5.00.

Sarnia Library invites teens, ages 12-18, to start taking photos of Lambton County's parks and waterways. Submissions for the ninth annual Teen Photo Contest will be accepted May 2 to May 30. Up to three photos can be submitted to the Sarnia Library in the following sizes: 4x6, 5x8, or 8x10. Photos will be displayed in the Sarnia Library Teen Area and the public is invited to vote for their favourites from May 30 to June 22. Please pre-register for all programs except those specified as a drop-in by contacting the individual library. Preschool programs requiring registration are currently underway; however, some branches offer the programs as drop-ins and welcome all participants.
