Curbside Pickup Service
Lambton County Library is offering a contactless curbside pickup service at 24 of its locations. In providing curbside pickup service, Lambton County Library will follow public health measures and guidelines that limit health risks for the Library's employees and patrons.
How does Library Curbside Pickup Service Work?
1. Choose the library materials you want to borrow. You can do this in three ways:
- Reserve the title you want online by using Lambton County Library's catalogue.
- If you know the title you would like to reserve, call your local library and ask a member of our team to reserve the item in your name.
- If you don't have a specific title or author in mind, let our team members select library materials for you based on your preferences. Call 1-866-324-6912 ext. 5900 from Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. or fill out the Readers' Advisory Form for the Library's Readers' Advisory Service.
2. Choose which library you want to pick your order up from. All 25 Lambton County Library locations are offering curbside pickup service. Be sure to tell our team member where you would like to pick up your materials when you place your order, or make the reservation online.
3. Once you receive notification by phone or email that your items are ready for pickup, arrive at your designated location during its hours of operation. Park in the area marked with designated Curbside Pickup signage and call the number on the sign to tell our team members you have arrived and are ready to pickup your materials. Pop your trunk, or open the door of the vehicle you would like your materials placed and keep your vehicle turned off to keep our employee safe. Stay in your vehicle while our employee is outside.
4. While using curbside pickup, please help our team members remain safe by eliminating any contact, respecting physical distancing guidelines and avoid gathering with friends and neighbours while waiting for the library service.
