Free Screening of The Librarians at Sarnia Library Theatre
Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library, in partnership with cinéSARNIA, will present a special free screening of the acclaimed 2025 documentary The Librarians on Monday, March 9 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Sarnia Library Theatre.
Directed by Kim A. Snyder, The Librarians follows a group of American librarians who unite to combat book banning amid unprecedented censorship efforts in Texas, Florida, and beyond.
“Libraries are on the frontlines of defending access to information,” said Adrianne Lebert, Public Services Coordinator – Adult Programs and Outreach, Lambton County Library. “The Librarians is a timely and inspiring documentary that shows how dedicated librarians are standing up for free expression across North America.”
