Mooretown Library

Mooretown Library Service Disruption

Mooretown Library will temporarily close beginning Monday, September 7, 2026, due to unforeseen impacts associated with ongoing renovations at the Mooretown Sports Complex.

The renovation project will impact access to and operations of Mooretown Library, located on the second floor of the Mooretown Sports Complex. The final day of library service will be Saturday, September 5, 2026.

The book return bin will not be available during the temporary closure. Materials can be returned to nearby Corunna, Courtright and Brigden libraries, or at any Lambton County Library location.

A reopening date for Mooretown Library will be determined as the renovation project progresses. Updates will be shared with the public as more information becomes available. The second-floor meeting room and rink viewing area will remain open during the renovation.
